nice to find the local family businesses when you relocate.
There are many unique places to shop away from the chain
stores.
On the Downtown Plaza people
enjoy taking a break and walking over to the City Center. There
is a new restaurant called "Escape”and
several unique galleries. On the same side of the Plaza visit

continuously operated business of its kind in the nation. Since
1853, the business has established itself as a seller of top
quality jewelry and giftware.
Across the plaza in the
"Gallery Building" is the Art
Institute and Gallery along with additional business offices.
Go next door to "Head Over Heels"

dress or shoes.

corner at 234 West Main Street, (410) 860-1263. They feature
three floors of antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing and
much more. Market Street Books is down the street at 146 West
